WooHoo!!
I got my last shot...at least for now. Talk of another booster for Pfizer. Guess time will tell.

I got there early because never know how bad traffic will be. Decided to see if they would let me in line. Yup. No one was checking times. I was done 5 minutes before my appt time was suppose to start. Not sure about other groups, but Methodist is so organized!! St. Lukes has pulled all the appointments and rescheduling. Guess we have been lucky!

Yes.

Honestly, I don't have a valid answer. I have shaped brushes by plucking and cutting. On good quality fine detail brushes as the hairs wear down , I have taken small quality scissors and trimmed to a new taper, cutting with the tip up and slightly pointed away. Good luck and keep me posted on the outcome.
Thanks BP.

My concern is that if the hairs are plucked out it will loosen the effect of the crimp holding them in, so over time more hairs will dislodge and leave themselves behind in the paintwork.

I'll start by trimming - assuming my eyes can cope with cutting a single tiny hair. :D

(and before Moog chimes in, no I don't need to wax my brush...)

Loose hairs remind me of an antique rebuild of a 26 ft wooden runabout I saw, The owner built the boat, but hired 2 women who were professional finishers. To avoid lint or dust, they worked in the nude.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

big john wrote: February 26, 2021 4:53 pm Good evening all. We have been in the Lenten season the last two Fridays. Traditionally, I am not supposed to eat meat on
those days. Today and last week I have been treating myself to different flavors of Margaritaville shrimp over rice.
Mmmmm, who knew Lent could be so much fun! :pirate:
We’ve bought the MV shrimp many times and serve them over pasta, rice, or riced cauliflower. There’s usually a coupon on the website for $1.00 a box and we wait to buy them until they’re on sale for 2/$10.

Hi boys and girls. Thank you for the birthday wishes for Cameron. :D

Today the 'big boss' was out of the office, and all of us have worked our back sides off all week, that we lost our oomph and did only what we had to do. :D

I'm ready to sleep in a bit tomorrow morning. (and when you want to, you probably don't) Of course, anything more than 5:00 am IS sleeping in. :)

Time to get back to the couch and watch Avalanche hockey (and flip to "Chopped" during commercials).

So - at 8:52 will be his birth time... 20 1/2 inches long... 6 lbs/10 oz... after 38 years, I still remember those silly statistics. :D

G'night.

I can foresee some safety issues there - not so much for the refinishers but for everyone else at the shipyard!
:D :o 8)

(I will also not go down the path of naked professional finishers, I'll leave that to others for the "happy ending").
