Take Another Road TUESDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. We took a detour on our weekly drive and found a beautiful vista. It's now the other road and we look forward to it.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning Bill (and Anne) and all others who stroll in.
We heard snow might be headed our way overnight -- apparently our hearing is bad .
Have a great day everyone!

Re: Take Another Road TUESDAY@ the MSC
Good morning! It's our granddaughters 9th birthday and Beard Popa is on special birthday breakfast duty. They'll be leaving today.
They live in western NY and the SIL went to the local urgent care to get a rapid Covid test yesterday but even though the website said they would test all patients, they wouldn't test him because he had no symptoms. He was just trying to get one to put his congregation at ease. And he said that you can't get a rapid test anywhere in NY state.
More laundry and cleaning up on the agenda after they depart. It's back to work tomorrow for both of us. It's been a wonderful visit.
The new bride came out to visit with the kids yesterday. One of their old dogs has not been well, verdict from the vet yesterday afternoon was it's terminal....a large tumor on the pancreas, so they took her home for one last night with her and will take her back to the vet late this afternoon. For this visit they will be allowed to go in with her.

Sooo the bat guys were here and weren't able to do anything because the roof is too icy for them to get up there. We have a very steep roof.
I'm assuming that they will be coming back at some point....I haven't gotten the low down from Bryan yet.
Kids are packed, and SIL is loading up the van.

Good morning. It's supposed to be 70 degrees today but it's been raining all morning. Not a torrential rainstorm but still rain. I don't have enough laundry for a full load, maybe I'll dust and vacuum instead since I won't be going outside.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Re: Take Another Road TUESDAY@ the MSC
Found out last night that my youngest daughter has covid-19. She got it from her mother (my ex-wife).
Her mother came over to her house sneezing and coughing but refused to wear a mask. Acted like it was no big deal.
She later learned she had covid-19 and now my daughter has it.
Also found out that my gran daughter's classmate and best friend has it. So now my gran daughter and her mom (my stepdaughter)
have to get tested. Things not going so well so far in 2021.

Good afternoon gang. A little 2-3 inch dusting of snow out there this morning. Looking out the big window appears some light flurry action happening as we speak. Should be done by 6-7 tonight. Then starting tomorrow we'll fall into the lower 20 highs & the single digit lows leading into the weekend.
Because indoor dining is currently closed here, we have an outdoor "igloo" bubble reserved for Friday night at Barley & Vine, a local operation which has the obvious beverages based upon the name & features local charcuterie....which I guess is a fancy name for meats & cheeses I know they sell small little sandwiches & flatbreads as well. Anyway, low Friday night is 8. Hoping their heaters will be on overdrive that night!!
Hope your families' Covid issues go away quickly John!

You guys in the US are seeing near enough to 4000 deaths every day from this plague, but people don't think it's serious.
What would it take for it to be taken seriously?

That's kind of the point I was trying to make by sharing this. to wear masks. They always have some lame excuse and feel the policy just doesn't apply to them.
I just want slap the crap out of them. My daughter went to the emergency room late last night. Her fever
finally broke and she's feeling better. She's back home now.
