Final TUESDAY of Nov @ the MSC
Good Morning All!
Not much happening at Ringville today (or the courthouse). But that's OK. We've got 183 criminal cases scheduled for virtual status conferences on Friday, Dec 3. Gotta gear up for that cluster.
Along with several other states, PA has been breaking our record every day for positive Covid tests so our Governor has enacted another rule.
All restaurants and bars must stop serving alcohol at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow evening until 8:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.....sigh.....this doesn't affect Kevin & I but it certainly does all of our local establishments that are struggling to stay afloat on a daily basis. (side note: the day before Thanksgiving—known as Blackout Wednesday—is the biggest drinking day of the year in many areas of the United States)

Morning BNers
Been dozing but not much sleeping tonight...allergies are acting up.
Hoping the drugs will kick in soon.
I guess I grew up in a strange family. No matter where we had Thanksgiving or Christmas, there wasn't any drinking...no beer, no wine, no mixed drinks on either side of the family. I know. Weird.

Good morning Linda and Molly. We have alcohol free holiday meals here. I prefer water or soda,
I'll be in waders later on. the highs will be in the low forties. It's 23 now.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning, peeps. Crisp, sunny 32* this morning.
Not much going on, just more Thanksgiving cooking prep and probably some chores/cleaning. I also have to do my year-end self-evaluation for upcoming performance review. Hate those but it's required so I'll come up with something creative and positive.

Good morning all!! It's our "Friday"!!
Out of here a bit early - It's 30 and snowing. And they're saying the worst of it is right where we live. But it's supposed to stop in a few hours and warm up. So the drive home will be much better!
TTFN!

Mornin BN'ers.....
a tad chilly start to the day here on the Gulf Coast, but supposed to be 70 degrees by 10:00 AM. I still refuse to wear pants.

Good morning everybody!
My weather is very similar to SMLCHNG's. Despite the snow and traffic, I made it on time and unlocked the building. The coffee's on, any bets how long it will be until someone else arrives?

Re: Final TUESDAY of Nov @ the MSC
Today's subject title just blows me away. How can it be??
As Linda mentioned Wednesday night is supposedly biggest bar night of the year, however us moldy oldies here care to call it Amateur Night. Good night to stay off the roadways & stay safe! I haven't participated in that since my mid-late 20's probably. With the bars shut down (other than for take out) around here mucho $$$ will be lost......but more than a few hangovers will most likely be lost too
Quick visit with the daughter's family tonight for dessert in celebration of Grandson's birthday from last week. So that will be nice.
Not a whole lot of pre & actual thanksgiving fanfare in the cards this year. Focusing more on getting the Christmas shopping done. When that happens, then it will be time to relax.
Enjoy your 24th day of November Parrotheads!!!

The good thing about Wednesday, the bars close 10 pm in Jersey. So it will not be busy at work. On the other hand I'm on vacation anyway.

Morning All,
Croissants & Jam for brekkie.
Got caught in a rain squall on my walk this morning, luckily it's a warm morning.
There is a garbage compactor truck outside our house, it's been there since early this morning when it made a horrendous noise while compacting. I think it broke something.
Mrs Rabz is quite ill again. The good news is she has been accepted onto a research program to try and work out what is wrong.

They tried that with us 1 year. I hated it too! Guessing it didn't go well as they (thankfully) haven't done it since...lime rickie wrote: ↑November 24, 2020 7:53 am Morning, peeps. Crisp, sunny 32* this morning.

Not liking those temps...is that considered 'winter'??

Average January temps are 60s high and 40s low. We'll sometimes get a cold front that takes us below freezing for a night or 2.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑November 24, 2020 4:30 pmWas thinking of taking a trip down at the end of Dec/1st of Jan...Crazy Navy Flyer wrote: ↑November 24, 2020 9:11 am Good morning BN. Re: Final TUESDAY of Nov @ the MSC
Hi again
I did get a nap in. But also finished up some Ritz/peanutbutter/dipped in chocolate cookies. Ryan requested them so they are done. I am not a neat cook, so I have peanutbutter and chocolate up to my elbows....ok, not quite that bad. But it is under my fingernails.
