I was hurting a lot some years back and thought I was too young to feel this bad. I needed a new direction and decided to feel young. Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn never grew old, so I became 14 in my head.

It worked well thinking young,

but now I have a curfew.

I was 14 when JFK died. We lived in a tiny community that had a consolidated school system. The Principal made a school-wide announcement that Kennedy had been shot. After lunch, we found out he had died.
I wondered how the school knew about the shooting. My Daddy always had a radio on. He heard and called the school....

2020 strikes again. 3 of us were pregnant in the neighborhood. Linda and I had our babies and then Dianne. They moved out of state a few times but we reconnected with fb. Found out today the Dianne had been having health problems and she died. We had so many laughs while raising our babies.....
