Sang!!!
The wind is rattling the windows. I am sure it is worse closer to the coast. Still no rain but darker skies.

Doing good. The cat is 20 and still walking. Slowly. Edith still healing in her ankle from July 2019. Nicholas is 10, this preventing me from retiring in 5 years.
Re: TGI Friday @ the MSC

Parts of Louisiana is getting pounded from Delta. Could be worse but they are still recovering from Laura.

That's what I was thinking when I saw where Delta might make landfall...springparrot wrote: ↑October 9, 2020 7:21 pm Parts of Louisiana is getting pounded from Delta. Could be worse but they are still recovering from Laura.

Sail on Whitey Ford....
I was a left handed little league pitcher in the late 50's and wore #16 to be just like him. RIP "Chairman of the Board"

We ventured out on our weekly adventure to the shops (or should that be weakly?). Mrs Rabz was in at the beauty salon having some women's thing done.
So I wandered over street and park, I wandered up and down.
I loitered here, I loitered there, till I was like to drop,
Until at last in sheer despair he sought a record shop.
(with sincere apologies to Banjo Patterson).

In one of the CD racks was a copy of Life on the Flip Side. That got here quicker than I expected.
I haven't listened yet, but will do in due course.

I'm sure I've mentioned this before. My father had 3 younger brothers, 2 of them played high school baseball with Whitey Ford. One was the catcher and the other played 3rd base.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑October 9, 2020 9:28 pm Sail on Whitey Ford....

If they'd known, they could have pretended to be Yogi Berra and Andy Carey.LIPH wrote: ↑October 9, 2020 10:23 pmI'm sure I've mentioned this before. Re: TGI Friday @ the MSC
Is Tink (nose boop and scritches for him) training Nicholas (how can he be 10?!) to take over as CEO?
Oh dear. Why is it taking that much time for Edith to heal?
