Standing By to Standby WED @ the MSC
Hello All,
Another trip to the dentist. She took a look and said "I'll book you in for two weeks. See you then".
Have I ever mentioned that I. HATE. DENTISTS?

Good Morning to All !!
Last day before a 4-day girls beach trip to Ocean City, MD. This will be my 4th of 5 for this year. It's been interesting to see the changes with COVID as time goes on. The changes are very minimal.

Good morning Rabz, Linda and Debbie. Good luck with that tooth, Rabz. Molars are the Achille's heel for mature people.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good Morning BN'ers!!
My High School Jr. Grandson Chase ran his personal best yesterday on the Cross Country Course in his 4th meet of the year. Time was 2+ minutes better than he ran as a freshman on the same course. Proud of the young man. He has such a great attitude about his sport. Last season his team made state finals. They take 5 runners to state meet + & alternate. The #6 runner was a Senior & 3 seconds behind Chase in qualifying time. Coach took the Senior as #5 runner & took Chase as alternate. Kid didn't complain one bit about it. Was just happy his team had success & that he was a part of it.

Gotta say, I never was a runner...did the contact sports, but I do like the message on his shirt!

Good morning. I'm moving slow and I have some errands to run today. I have to go pay my cable bill in person, the bill just came in yesterday's mail and it's due Monday. When I pay my bills online, the cable company is the only one the bank doesn't pay electronically. They send a paper check and it takes 5 business days, I don't want to be late. I also have to go to the recycling center, then stop at the Beer Den to see if anyone is working there anymore. The last few times I've been in the supermarket, the Den Master (that's what the company calls the Beer Den people) wasn't there.

they had never won a single meet. In a few years he turned them both into undefeated champs. So I know how much work goes into it.

Re: Standing By to Standby WED @ the MSC
I just found this story:
Five African grey parrots at a wildlife park in London have found themselves in isolation
from each other after they were swearing at park visitors.
According to CNN, the birds were donated to Lincolnshire
Wildlife Park in England by five different owners.
I would SO adopt those birds.

Afternoon BNers
Trying to watch the Astros play but between players yelling at the ump and the rain, it isn't easy. Both teams are yelling at the ump so he isn't playing favorites.

Re: Standing By to Standby WED @ the MSC
The Den Master was at the Beer Den but they only had 7 beers instead of the usual 8. The empty keg was the New Zealand beer that I never got to try.
I left and went for a walk in the park instead of drinking beer. When I got home I went online to see what they replaced the New Zealand beer with. The have a Russian imperial stout from Norway. I've never had a beer from Norway, maybe I'll go for Thirsty Thursday tomorrow, 1/2 price pints from 4:00-8:00.
