Last Day of Summer MONDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. Fall starts tomorrow, but we have had cold weather in the AM for some time. 29 here. I'll be fishing with gloves to start the day.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Sure felt like fall around here yesterday. I don't think it made it out of the low 70's. Chilly and wet. More of the same today i believe until we start creeping back up towards the low 80's by mid week.

Good morning Bill, Michi, Tammy, George, and Deb!
Mid 50's now, heading to upper 80's, 90's by the end of the week, again. Looking forward to some 70's by next weekend. And maybe some rain!!
Off to that work place now, tho. Have a good Monday!

Good morning BN. Cold and rainy, 60's. Haven't worn long pants since March, may have to get them out of storage today.

It is garbage day, and the first trash pick up since Hurricane Sally. Hopefully they have enough space for all of the debris which are out in front of everybody's homes.

No picnics, no festivals, no RAGBRAI (Google it), and no Bubba on tour. They finally did hold the Tour de France, but in SEPTEMBER, for Pete's sake!!

My last Buffett show was 1 year ago today, in Dublin. I wonder when my next one will be?

Re: Last Day of Summer MONDAY@ the MSC
our garbage pick up is weird. You get two cans, one for normal trash and one for re-cycles. They pick up the normal trash twice a week, an the -recycles once. Lawn waste like branches and such get picked up once every other week.
Our re-cycle and lawn waste was last Thursday, along with our second trash for the week. They cancelled due to the storm. They also contacted everybody and said that recycles and lawn waste pickup is suspended until further notice. So now everybody has there re-cycles and lawn waste back out, but they only picked up the normal. I saw them coming and doing this, so i emptied all my recycles into the normal. He saw me doing it and refused to take it.
i waited for them to leave, and then put it across the street at a neighbors who is gone during the summer. Problem solved.

Good afternoon all. 35 F this morning. I'm as far north as I ever want to be. We were looking at houses in
a warmer climate for our twilight years but covid 19 put a halt to that.
