Remember 9/12 on Saturday @ the MSC
We will never forget 9/11, not that there's anything wrong with that... This was, after all, the Boomer generation's "Day of Infamy".
But what we REALLY should remember is 9/12 —
Think about it.

Good Morning Bill.......BN lurkers!
Yes, the Nation came together with a level of Patriotism & Camaraderie that made you quite proud to be an American! Not pointing fingers but Damn....how far we have fallen.
On the lighter side, 1 1/2 more days of work & the Good Dr. will be off to Lake Potowotominimac! Ok maybe not the Lake where John Candy & Dan Aykroyd encountered the Great Grizzly Bear in the movie The Great Outdoors, but close enough!
Enjoy your day gang!!

Hey BN Folks!
Thanks for that reminder Bill, of how life was and how it could be still.
Not much going on at Ringville today. If the weather holds out (it's breezy with low humidity now) we will head to church at 6 for the parking lot service. Other than that we got nuthin.

Good morning all. I have some community service at noon and maybe a workout. With a little effort, I can blow off the work out.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Agreed.
Good morning, BN.
Not much on the agenda today/weekend except laundry, dishes, grocery store, Mom visit, and cooking.
We took our walk this morning, good to have the skies a little less smoky.
Off to make some breakfast, then hit the store!

Good morning BN. Appears we have some weather heading our way, TD coming across south Florida today into the Gulf. We're expecting at least a tropical storm. Time to go to the boat and prepare it. Many inches of rain forecast.

Morning BN.
Had a nice hour walk on the beach this am. Mostly cloudy where we are but a nice breeze. Will head to the store in a little while for a few more supplies (tropical depression/storm go away party ) and then hit the beach for a few hours later.
Really loved (and miss) the love we had on Sept 12th!
Happy Sat y'all!!

For the last six months it's been "don't go out of your house, but if you do, stay away from other people cuz you might catch COVID".
But now it's "don't go out of your house, and if you do, don't breathe cuz it'll damage your lungs".
The whole West Coast is either on fire or enveloped in the smoke from the fires.

It'll pass, then what you can to look forward to is the right biased media and the left biased media concocting stories of how the other side is to blame and how if they were running things how different it all would have been.
Rather than the correct response which is "Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On" followed by "Help each other to rebuild both physically and mentally".
But I guess saying that doesn't get clicks or help their agendas...

Gosh. I forgot to check in.
Evening BNers
We skipped yesterday but tonight the Astros are playing the Dodgers. I wonder how the smoke is there??
To everyone in Sally's path, please be careful and safe. You have been through this before but every TS/hurricane is different.

Sitting out by the pool having some adult beverages & listening to the replay. There's a lovely breeze off the water & the waves crashing in the background makes me want to move down even more.

I've got several condos on a list that I hope to look at Mon. I keep waiting for the 'rainy' day that the guessers have been calling for so I don't miss any beach/pool time. We fly out Tue so regardless, Mon is the day!
How's the boat?
