It was sprinkling at the track in Indy. They stopped everything and got the track dry. Just as the dryers got off the track, it started to rain harder. :(
They are down to final rounds but we have to wait. Again.

Well I am completely and utterly bummed out.

I was having a few beers in one our favourite bars, some good friends we hadn't seen in ages were there. A tropical storm blew in.

Weirdly, my next memory is of that bar morphing into a different bar. We went for a swim and the view looking back at the island was just magic magic magic. Sun, storm clouds, palm trees and ni-Vanuatu kids leaping off the dock.

Then it all went wrong.

I woke up. It was just a dream. I just can't face the day now.

Depends. There are a lot of stories, some good ones, some I would skip over after hearing once. The music is all vintage 70's . I piture him all whiskered up with HAIR.

We have a CD set of all the old Carson shows. We watch and shake our heads while saying “no one could get away saying that now “.

Got up early to watch drag racing. Multitasking watching races and seeing John Frinzi on my phone. Love watching him a few times a week.
Got all the races completed except the final rounds. The drizzle turned into a downpour and now the finals will be run back in Indy in Sept. Our friend is in the funny car finals. I'm sure he hates having to wait so long to (hopefully) win.

I purchased alot of full shows on DVD including with the original network commercials. I havee one with Buffett on it. Plus Peacock network is playing full episodes. Yea he was drooling when Raquel Welch and Anne Margaret were on.

I never got the tapes but clips are shown on the infomercials advertising the tapes, for Johnny Carson and for the old Dean Martin roasts. That was some funny stuff. I have watched newer Comedy Central roasts but it seems like many (most?) of the roasters don't even really know or have any relationship with the roastees. Back in the day it seemed like they all really new each other, or at the very least had worked together at some point and that made it seem funnier, at least to me.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

My fave was Foster Brooks on those old Martin roasts. He did a funny drunk.
