It's Jersey. Cannot wait to live in the mountains away from people.

As Mark Twain wrote "Time to light out for the territories,"
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Pool was awesome. In and out just about every 5 minutes because of the heat.
Just finished watering our flowers and tomato plants and now it’s pouring.
Thats ok.....I’d rather have the rain after watering than not Bother to water and have no rain.

So I made beer battered fish and chips for dinner and Chocolate Chip cookies with peanut butter chips and crushed pretzels added and I'm done!

Looks like a bit of excitement down San Diego way.

Just got word at work that a US Navy ship is on fire. USS Bonhomme Richard.

Evening BNers

Got up early to watch drag racing! The first race since March. It was great to see cars on the track. :)

Then Ryan needed to set off some bug bombs upstairs. We just had the exterminator spray but roachs ans spiders are running wild upstairs.

So he set off the bombs and we headed to Conroe to find Margaritaville at the lake. It was further then we thought but we found it. I posted some pics on fb. It was an already built hotel but it was totally remoulded. Very nice pools, lazy river, etc. All employees were wearing masks. Maybe half of the customers had them on. We had key lime pie and I had a strawberry margarita. Not sure there was any tequila in it but it was still tasty and cooling. We sat outside with a view of the lake. A sea plane was circling. Don't think it was JB. Lol

Nice day at the cafe' ( except for the warship. That's a lot of smoke and injuries.) We had bar food for lunch and I had a fruit salad for supper(banana split.)
Nice you got out, Molly Sea planes and float planes are an iconic symbol of adventure that I don't get in my life these days.

It was nice seeing one. The only other one I have seen is the Hemisphere Dancer.

This was only the 5th time I have been in public since middle of March. Guess it was a good place to find my wings. Lol

Well, just back from the Covid Test Clinic.

I have to isolate until the results come back. The upshot of which is that nothing needs to change!

Ta Bill.

I did the test out of a healthy abundance of paranoia. I woke with a scratchy throat, which hadn't subsided by lunchtime.

The test was somewhat unpleasant but in "24 to 72 hours" I'll know one way or the other. I am not too worried right now.
