Morning, peeps.

Another foggy day in Vacationland. Just lazing around in between prepping for the in-laws visit.

Enjoy your Sunday! :wench:

Good morning Nancy. We have a beautiful start to the day. The heat wave crashed for now. The cat is happy. The AC is off and the sun porch is open for him to bask in the summer air.

Hello folks!

We are sitting on the upper level of Calamity Cove having coffee. It will soon be too hot to be comfortable. I’ll be heading to our friend’s pool later today. I hope.

We went to church last evening. Outdoor parking lot service. It was a beautiful night — weather and socializing. 6 ft apart and masked but it was awesome to see everyone. Listening, singing and taking communion.

Has anybody else seen the treatment being given by Dr. Richard Bartlett in Texas for COVID ?

You would think that when something as such is being done with this success rate that it would make headlines all over the world, and the treatment would be expanded greatly.

My Sunday rant is over....Back to your regular scheduled programming.

Good morning. I wait for peer reviewed studies. Not news. In any event 2 more working days then 2 weeks off.

Good morning, BN! :)

Off to brunch this morning - household chores the rest of the day, and cooking dinner tonight.

That's about it for the day.

Wife and i agreed to go to Lowe's this morning for a few things. When we get back, she will trim some of the bushes and i will cut the grass...when finished, we will take the rest of the day off and just lounge in the pool....the faster i get to Lowes, the sooner we will be done.

Drive-in concert with Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes was well-received. So weird though that they didn't allow tailgating in alternate spaces.

Southside Johnny was the last concert I saw. He was at the House of Blues in early March, a couple of weeks before everything started shutting down.

Hi everyone! We had a quick breakfast and coffee, then I started laundry and did a more thorough cleaning up of the kitchen while Bryan went out to now. Definitely not much on the agenda today, but I'll be enjoying an adult beverage and cooking dinner later (not sure what it will be) and probably making some kind of cookies. (Bryan likes to have "portables" for lunches during the week! Have a great day!

I think I'll take a ride to Total Wine. It's time for a leisurely stroll through the beer section so I can replenish my supply, I'm running low.

I think I'm going to have a heart attack. Cut my bushes on driveway side only. 90 degrees out. Rest will have to wait. Let code enforcement bust my chops

When I left for Total Wine the sun was shining. It started raining while I was in the store and it was coming down so hard when I left that I got soaked going to my car, I had to change into dry clothes when I got home. The sun's out again but the temperature dropped 10 degrees and the heat index went from 103 to 85.

Code enforcement? Yer so lucky to have rules. My neighbor 100yards away is scraping metal in his front yard. The piles of metal are right up to the road. There are NO zoning laws in my township. :x

Well they won't bother me unless the neighbor I sued from a dog attack calls. That is why I cut them on her side. Code can be a pain, they look over our fences to see if you put up a shed.

I remember when I was still a kid, thinking how did Batman ever get all that stuff in the bat cave without help or somebody noticing? He must not have had enforcement. :D

And that is why we will NEVER live in a strata or "home owner association" type property. It's nobody's business but mine when or if I mow or how many garden sheds I have. The times we have rented in those kinds of places, the prevalence of nosey wannabe dictators on the committees was astounding. I know many of them have no life but spying on neighbours for your entertainment is simply sad and probably needs professional help.
