Re: Celebrate the Good SUNDAY@ the MSC
Heading home from my 1st of 4 girls beach weekends. Great fun. Lots of laughs. And 1/2 beautiful weather.
My biggest issue right now is heading back to work tomorrow which until late thursday was the end of the Judicial Emergency. It’s now June 30 but I had already rescheduled 30 some civil proceedings for the month of June. Even though they are all via Zoom videoconferencing it will force our chambers to be in the courthouse. Guess I shot all of us in the A%#.

Last night on the weather report they said it would be less humid today. I just got back from my walk and I'm all sweaty. I don't know if they were wrong about the humidity going down or if it's because I'm so hot.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Hi there! Twenty years ago I bought redwood stain for my deck. It was on sale.
For the size of the house, it's a big deck.
I stained my deck
and now I have a big red deck.
Every year I power wash and reapply the stain
because a big red deck should always pop.
I thought it 2 hours. No. It took 4.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Bryan finished installing the new dishwasher today. I did laundry and cleaned the major hairballs on the floor. Made a Crock pot chicken cacciatore for dinner tomorrow and tonight we will be having Tacos. I am drinking margaritas with frozen pineapplechunks thrown in for good measure, don't know how many I've had! Bryan also made some amazing cookies for lunches this week. He's kinda amazing that man of mine. I'm so thankful that he is mine.

Flooring goes in today.
I will then fix their stuff ups (because that's what I have to do after paying professionals to do stuff).
After that is just some blinds to be installed, then I can do the fun bit - unpacking the shipping container and moving it all back into the house.
I have teed up the young fella next door to give me a hand on Sunday to move the big items. Go on, guess when rain is forecast...

Helped my uncle open their pool today. It was a really nice day here (74°) so I worked on my tan too
Grilled salmon & veggies for dinner. Now I'm chilling with a cranberry vodka for dessert
12hrs of ot tomorrow. I would normally be fine with that (even happy as this is the 1st ot I've had since corona broke out) but I see they are currently riotting in my work county. We are a smallish county but considered northern va, about 50 miles south of DC. I might be drinking straight vodka tomorrow night

Just small one in Newark last night, about 20 min from me. Mostly peacefully in other cities. Atlantic City is acting up. Virtually everystate has a problem. I'm monitoring NYC and Philly And Chicago on scanner

Re: Celebrate the Good SUNDAY@ the MSC
We haven't had any riots, or shootings like we had the last 2 weekends, but earlier today they announced a curfew is in effect from 6pm-6am. On the 6:00 news there was a reporter at the main police station, also the location of the local jail. There were police in riot gear on the lawn outside the building and some people hanging around on the sidewalk, but it seemed pretty calm. The reporter is a skinny little white girl. She was speaking faster than she usually does, like she couldn't wait to get out of there, and she looked scared $h!tless.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑May 31, 2020 7:53 pm 12hrs of ot tomorrow.
