We never got to the stage where wearing masks was a thing, although some folk choose to.

On Saturday while out shopping I started watching those who were wearing masks. They were mostly the elderly or folk of Asian heritage. (We have a rather large population of Asians around here, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and more - it means we have (had?) many many excellent restaurants!!!).

What I noticed is that almost every single person was either not wearing the mask correctly or they kept touching the mask. Either way, it defeats the purpose and cost of the mask.

Unfortunately, I think that it is also leading to a false sense of security and people will let their guard down.

Edited becoz I carn't spel too goodly

I noticed that for both the shoppers & employees. Obviously it's your choice as a shopper (we in VA were not required to wear them) but if your employer said to wear them, shouldn't you wear them correctly?

The one's that worry me the most are the ones who wear the mask under their nose. NFI. I guess it fogs their glasses or something, but what's the point?

I got a kick out of those with the masks or bandanas around their neck... Exactly, what's the point of even wearing it?

When I'm wearing a mask my glasses fog up. I take them off. As long as I'm not driving I can see well enough to get by.

I went to Publix this morning for my 3 weeks worth of groceries, I'd guess about 50/50 wearing masks, mostly the older crowd.

Everyone in Jersey that I have come across is wearing a mask. Pretty astounding achievement from a population that has trouble using a directional in a car.

The store where I do my grocery shopping is requiring its employees to wear masks. I might as well wear one too, if for no other reason than at least common courtesy. And I'm sort of in the at risk group, I don't have any underlying health issues but I'm over 65.

Wish that was the case for me. I'll take off my glasses if I'm talking to someone but I can't see squat if I'm in the store shopping. I had read that wiping shaving cream on you glasses would help eliminate the fog up. Count me as one of the dorks who tried it & witnessed the failure of that trick.

I just went to the store. There was a guy wearing his mask on his chin. Not covering his mouth, not covering his nose, but on his chin.

I kept thinking of guys who wear their pants halfway down their butts.

A random thought. With all the mask wearing, are lipstick sales down?
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I find pinching the mask at the nose takes care of the fog.
