Slidin" Thru SATURDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. We pick up the new car this morning. I've been awake since 3:30, so a nap will be taken.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: Slidin" Thru SATURDAY@ the MSC
good morning everyone.
I'm off to a socially distancing bridal shower today....wedding date is June 27. The ceremony is still on as it is outside and very small. The future bride & groom are still waiting to hear about the reception venue.
This is 1 of 4 weddings we have scheduled for this year. The one on July 4 was just postponed to July 3, 2021. The one for Aug 1 is still going just as the official ceremony with bride, groom and their parents' in attendance (this is our niece). Their reception will probably be next year sometime.
The one for Oct 10 has not yet been rescheduled.

Bern's event center had 38 weddings booked in 2020 a year ago. He hasn't worked since March due to cancellations.Saltx3 wrote: ↑May 16, 2020 8:11 am good morning everyone.

Morning BNers
Broadway shows have been canceled through summer.
I was actually sleeping until we had a huge line of storms rumble through. Thunder kept going and going with the pounding rain. We are fine but parts of south Houston area are a mess. Flooding and trees uprooted. More rain is forecast today.

You and Anne like your Rav, Bill? Next time I get a new vehicle I've been thinking about ditching a Civic(I've had Civic Sedans for like 15 years almost) and getting a Rav or a CR-V.bodypainter wrote: ↑May 16, 2020 8:24 amA new Rav to replace Anne's Rav.Saltx3 wrote: ↑May 16, 2020 8:07 ama new car ? Good morning. I have nothing on the agenda today, except maybe having a beer or two later, and I'm not looking to change that.

Afternoon BN.
I've been slidin' around the house all morning picking up, laundry, etc.
I am also all packed & ready for Mon.
It's 81° & sunny out so I think I'll work on my base tan
Cheers:30!

Been cleaning house today, all done except for the floors. Just going to give them a good sweeping since it's supposed to rain again tomorrow and with the big dogs tracking in and out, I'll wait to mop later in the week. Bryan, got out the forced air dryer and blew more undercoat out and gave them a bath out on the deck! Going to have a margarita before I finish my chores!

We just traded in our 2005 Toyota Rav (that we bought new) on a 2019 Hyundai Tucson. The new Ravs were a little more $$ than we wanted to spend. I loved that Rav.WVParrothead wrote: ↑May 16, 2020 10:36 amYou and Anne like your Rav, Bill?
