Remembrance SAT @ the MSC
Good Morning BN
I have no idea why I haven't been able to sleep "in" until at least my alarm clock beeps at 6:25 on work days. And since today is NOT a work day it makes it even worse that I've been up since 5:20
Although we should never take our freedom for granted, this is an official time for those of us in the US to remember all who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

Good morning Linda. We woke to a bright start of the day. After breakfast, we tour Acadia.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Linda, Deb, and Bill!
My freedom today will be the ability to go to the grocery store for meal fixings for the weekend. And laundry. Finally taking the flannel sheets off, and put on new ones that I got for my birthday (in February).
Celebrate the lives of those who gave for our freedom.

We were woken up promptly at 5:30 am by the not so soothing sounds of one of our neighbors car alarms blaring. It went on so long hubby finally got up just to make sure it wasn’t ours, although we knew it wasn’t. 90 minutes later I finally gave up trying to get back to sleep. Hubby managed. Hate him.

Another pretty day here. A tiny bit chilly for this time of year but the sun is out and we should be in the low 70’s by the afternoon. The only bummer is tomorrow we are expecting rain? That’s not normal at all for this time of year.
I hope springparrot and crew have outdoor stuff today and indoor activities planned for tomorrow.

Morning BNers
We are mid way between SD and LA.
The sky is blue but there are also dark clouds off and on.
Had a great night at rhe Feat ahow. Beautiful outdoor venue but it was a tad cool after sundown. Part of rhe band was wearing jackets on stage. Great music and fun to xatch up wirhfriends.with friends
By thw time qe get to Anaheim, it will be time to unload, redress and find the venue in Beverly Hills...90210.

Good afternoon.
CCU won again yesterday so they're still alive. They're the #5 ranked team in the conference (#s 1, 3 & 4 have all been eliminated) and they're playing the #10 team today. Usually that would be good but the #10 team is undefeated in the tournament and they've scored 38 runs in their 3 games. They're playing right now, if CCU loses they're out but if they win they have to play another game tonight. If they win that game, they play for the championship tomorrow. I was thinking of going to the championship game no matter which teams were playing but it starts at 1:00 and I have an appointment to donate platelets at the Red Cross at 10:30. It takes a minimum of 2 hours, usually longer, to donate platelets so I'd miss the first couple of innings if I went to the game. Plus, it's supposed to be in the mid 90s tomorrow. I'll probably just go home when I'm done at the Red Cross.

Re: Remembrance SAT @ the MSC
We’ve had one of the best weather days this “Spring “ season. Finished my outdoor planting and Kevin and the neighbor guy attacked a few “scrub” trees in the detention basin behind our property. I ran a few errands while Kevin stayed home and strummed on his newest instrument... a banjo.
We’re heading to our sons new home. Will be nice to see it with their furniture but they haven’t yet emptied boxes but there’s plenty of time for that. For now our 5 yr old grandson is having a ball playing in his first backyard

Hi there! We had a great day in Acadia, BUT we never came here before on a Holiday weekend. Busy place. The town went from free parking to meters and kiosks. We know a hidden public lot that we parked in that had not yet been updated,...…. yet.
I ordered my Pina colada and the girl beside me gasped at it's size. She had a regular sized Margarita.
Linda, I told Anne of the banjo. She was shocked Kevin didn't get a psaltry, an instrument he's only heard about from her.
