Jimmy at Ravinia?

Post by Down around Biloxi »

Heard a rumor that Jimmy may stop by Ravinia for the Glen Campbell Goodbye Tour with Ronnie Milsap as the opening act. Just wondering if anyone else has any info on this? He's playing in town on Saturday so I guess it's possible....

And Jake Shimabukuro is at Ravinia Sunday night.

Glen Campbell is playing tonight so no, Jimmy will not be there since he is in Pittsburgh tonight.

Had the same thought about a guest appearance with Jake on Sunday. I know it's a stretch, but.... :D

Jake is playing with A Far Cry, so Jimmy would be intruding on an arranged performance between two performers/groups already. Maybe intruding is a bit strong. One can only hope.

Jimmy didn't show.

But Jake + Ravinia + warm summer night = awesome. Great to see Jake growing to such a star. New albums, bus tours, combining events with other artists, and on and on. Go Jake!

Jake's concert was amazing--hope he does more with string ensembles-the sound was wonderful!

It was a good show, although I still like him solo a little better. Looking forward to his Alan Parson's produced album. He has been tweeting the past few days about his studio sessions and seems really psyched up!
