Let them read the book. I am amazed at how many kids (friends of mine kids) just love the book. All they can talk about is Mullet Fingers. If I have done one good thing in my life, it's getting these youngsters to read a book. And better yet talk about it when they're done.

Don't know if anyone has noticed this yet, but on the Hoot website -
http://www.hootmovie.com - when you click on "STORY", it says the movie is produced by "Jimmy
Buffet".
Now, I can see how non-fans and even casual fans can get his name wrong. But how on earth does the website for his OWN movie spell his name wrong? They spelled the author's name (which is surely more difficult than Jimmy's) correctly, for heaven's sake!
