Try walking into 3 different Winnie the Pooh movies, just Kristi and I and NO kids to take along. So Hoot won't be a problem for me
I took my kids to see "Narnia" before Christmas and they showed the movie preview for Hoot.... When they said " soundtrack all new material by Jimmy Buffett" Me and my boys cheered....Everyone looked around at us up in the back... Guess we were the only Parrotheads there....

Now, I can see how non-fans and even casual fans can get his name wrong. But how on earth does the website for his OWN movie spell his name wrong? They spelled the author's name (which is surely more difficult than Jimmy's) correctly, for heaven's sake!
Yeah, well, I corrected the CIP folks when they distributed a promo coupon "Jimmy Buffet's famous song..." The look on the guy's face (he'd just gotten them from corporate and had already passed out 1,000+) was priceless!!

Trick? Take them up the edge of the playing field.
That way you only have to watch out for things
coming from one direction.
She won for Best Actress (in a leading role) in the movie "Room"
Hard to believe that just ten years before, she was doing pop music as well as the role of Beatrice "The Bear" Leep
in the movie Hoot. Her song "Coming Around" is part of the soundtrack.

thanks I don't follow movies much,
and yes I have the soundtrack
I had never heard of The Room, but I would like to see it after watching the Oscars.
I didn't recognize Brie, but my daughter, who would have been 9 (WOW! CRAZY!) when I took her to see Hoot, told me that's who she was when she was accepting her award.
Both of my daughters, the other 2 years younger, loved Hoot! I can't believe how young they were when it came out!
