Rolling Stone magazine posted one of the tracks from the soon to be released Songs You Don't Know By Heart album.
The track is Delaney Talks to Statues and it has a vintage Buffett vibe and feel to it from start to finish:

Just listened to this track...and for it alone Id buy the album. This is JB as he was in the early 70's...absolutely beautiful.. The Story Teller at his finest

I haven't been this excited for a JB album release in forever.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

It sounds so much better than the original. They should add Doyle to the band and just tour and do small venues from here on out.baybound wrote: ↑November 13, 2020 3:15 pmYes, I like that. it makes the album simple, clean and not over produced like most albums nowadays. It has the sound of his early works
I would have picked a 100 different songs over this one to get recorded but I get it - Delaney put it together so he had to do this song. Excited for the rest.
