PHIP Turmoil.

Post by Marnin Grita Guy »

I am sure if you are a member of a PHIP club you have seen the recent upheaval as well as tonight's latest blow that is totally contrary to the wishes of the members as a whole. The "Board" has decided that they know better than the paying club members on how things should proceed. I voiced my disapproval to the impeachment of the president that club members had voted in and received an obnoxious response from one of three people on the board. Andrew, David, or Char. I post this here first publicly as this is my home and where I learned Buffett. These people have taught me everything that is NOT Buffett. I hope this will help to eliminate the evil within the PHIP organization.

Holy cow!! Just when I didn’t think they could be any more unprofessional.

Amazing that they don’t see the err of their ways despite the feedback of thousands among varying ‘ranks’! Leaders, members, talent, CRB, etc.

Wow. Just wow.

Well hello to you my old friend. I was wondering if you were still alive and kicking. You know, a little message now and then would be nice since you are not a social media fan. Just do it to humor an old man, okay?

As I said on FB, it's a freakin' PH Club / Organization. Planning a big party with a great cause. They aren't solving world problems. I have to laugh at these people, and they should be embarrassed for their behavior. This should not be political.

So now they are claiming they were hacked and the response to me was from outside their organization. They impeached the newly elected president that wanted to make changes to help sustain the PHIP organization. This is the same group that has brought the MOTM to a lackluster event schedule that most have felt. I can only say this. "If the PHIP Facebook page was hacked, it must have resulted from someone, with access, doing something negligent for this to occur. This would tell me that an existing board member had acted in a way that can only be seen as grounds of nonfeasance, misfeasance, and acting in a manner that is detrimental to the organization."

Why do community organisations run by volunteers end up falling apart in acrimonious circumstances?

Why do otherwise good people suddenly become zealots and dictators once they get on committees?

Are their lives so insignificant they think bossing other volunteers and helpers around is a good thing?

I'll never understand.
