Re: Who's Going To Louisville-March 3rd
Just confirmed with my buddy that we're coming down for the L'villle show on 3/3. We've been to about 115 shows between us and he actually introduced me to Buffett when we were in high school in the 80's. No tickets yet but we'll either scalp or get lucky in some other way. We're sort of seat snobs ...

Re: Alpine Valley?
Quit all your belly achin about the weather. It's Jan 31st and 55 in Chicago! Down right tropical if you ask me.
That being said, we may not see 75 until July, but none-the-less......
But, AV is always only my list of JB show venues so when it's announced, that weekend will be blocked off.

Re: Who's Going to Chicago(Toyota Park) 7/23/11?
Went to Mville in Chgo yesterday around 6, (had the Tweets with us so early out/early in). It was packed with a 1 hr wait. I was really surprised at how small it was. I've been to several M'villes and this was about 1/10 the size of some of the others. We didn't make it down to the beer garden for m...

New Margaritaville in Chicago.
A new M'ville restaurant/store will be opening sometime in the Spring at Navy Pier in Chgo. Wonder if he'll do a small show someplace for the grand opening?
I remember years ago (10+) he played at the House of Blues, don't recall why though.

What do you wear to Buffett shows?
I bought a "Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays Tour" t-shirt for $10 in the parking lot at Alpine in 2000 and it's now been worn to about 25 shows. For being an 'illegal' shirt, it's surprising high quality and held up great; everything spelled correctly, no holes, colors still look pretty goo...

Re: What JB song really 'speaks to you' about your life & dreams
Coast of Carolina for two reasons: 1. My favorite summer vacation spot has been the OBX for many years. It's such a great place to hang out, lay on a lounge chair, have a few (or many) boat drinks, and do a whole lotta nothing for a week. 2. "...after one or two false starts, I believe I found...

Re: What JB song really 'speaks to you' about your life & dreams
Wow bonefish, your comments on CITJ match my feelings perfectly (allthough I would like to find a way to include the wife and kid). I used to listen to this song when I was younger in the 80/90's and loved it but didn't really understand it. Was listening to it about 6-7 years ago and went "cl...

What JB song really 'speaks to you' about your life & dreams
For me, it's "Cowboy in the Jungle". I think those lyrics were written specifically for me because, if I weren't married with kids, I could see myself saying "Ef it", cashing in the 401k, buying a sailboat and letting my wanderlust take me to ports unknown. My other favorite JB s...

Tinley Park September 2001 Beach Odyssey. The concert was delayed by September 11..... It was a very moving experience....I had just joined BN the week before the disaster I was at the Thursday show that year--very emotional! The Saturday show that year was my 2nd JB show. I hadn't met any BNers ye...

No way. I like to tailgate as much as the next PH but I gotta get in there and feel the music. Even if you don't want to spend for pavilion, you can find lawn seats at any show for $10-$20.
