anyone else having problems entering? It keeps telling me "an error has occurred - please see below" but nothing is "below" :( :( When I see below, it highlights in red the section about "tell me why you gotta go where it's warm" or whatever it says, but no matter what...

ticket prices are pretty steep all across the board. My husband and I saw Billy Joel last week and our tickets were okay and they cost us over $85 each. So I'm thinking I'd pay $40 more to be super close to the stage to see Buffett. Paying $40 more to be at the ultimate tailgate party, with a ton o...

Yes, same here. We had a group anywhere from 15 to 20 since 1999 but ever since his Nissan shows moved to Thursdays a few years ago, a lot of people have dropped out. Those July 4th weekend shows were the best -a house full of out of town friends, fireworks on the Mall, and Buffett at Nissan. I've ...

Sadly, leaving the country on a whim is probably not going to happen. If you can tow Anguilla up into the Chesapeake Bay, let's talk.

After reading this I popped the DVD in the other night to see what you were talking about. Seeing that woman's reaction made me want to throw my drink at the TV. Not (just) because it was directed at Jimmy, but because of people like that in general. She probably treats everybody like that. Makes me...

I live less than 30 minutes from Nissan and yes parking is a nigtmare. If you are able, I would try to get there at least 4 hours ahead of time (less stress). And the widening of the roads should help but Nissan is bigger than Merriweather. I would rather have more tickets available. We got there l...

It's listed on the Nissan Pavilion website too. The Nissan website says the show is at 7:00 pm with gates opening at 5:30 pm and TicketMaster says 8:00 pm. What's up with that? If the show starts at 8:00, they should put 7:00 just so you have an extra 1 hour traffic allowance. Without exaggeration,...

Smaybe it's an all You can eat buffet. Amusing story: I ate dinner with a friend's family a long time ago and one guy was wearing a Jimmy Buffett shirt, so I asked the obvious "oh, are you a Jimmy Buffett fan?" He said the shirt was a gift from someone and he wasn't really a fan. Then his...

Takes about 19k and him to offer a meet and greet for a charity. I will let you know how it goes when I meet him this year. It takes a LOT more than $19K just to get his attention, let alone show up! 8) Ohhhh, no wonder he never shows up when I ask him. I'm only paying him $18,999. Shoot... S...

Security has definately cracked down there in recent years, but on Jimmy's last time around, we had a blast in the Columbia mall parking lot instead. I remember a fire truck driving through the lot with a big shark fin on top. Even if the mall and Merriweather wouldn't allow tailgating, I'd still ra...

It's so funny having people welcome me to the boards. I've been visiting the boards for a long time but never posted anything until last fall and even from then, it's been only ocassionally. I've been more of a reader. I feel like I'm a regular here but I guess I've been keeping to myself too much. ...
