I Think You're the Father of One of My Kids...

A guy goes to the supermarket and notices an attractive woman waving at him. She says hello. He's rather taken aback because he can't place where he knows her from. So he says, "Do you know me?" To which she replies, "I think you're the father of one of my kids." Now his mind travels back to the onl...

I was originally going to go to the Ram's Head show since it is on a Saturday afternoon, but it was nearly sold out and the only seats left were in the front corner. Since I've never been to Ram's Head, I elected for the Birchmere instead. There are still plenty of tickets and it's first-come first-...

Jake Shimabukuro at the Birchmere 3/14

Just curious if anybody is going to see Jake Shimabukuro at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA on Wednesday 3/14? I'm getting a couple friends together to go for my birthday. Thought it would be more fun than spending the night at home in front of the TV.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, there was a small record store near me that had a policy of distributing place cards to hold spots in line in advance so people would not camp out. Their rule was once they could pull up the info on the show in their ticketmaster computer, then you could get a numb...

I have to say that the orchestra seats at Nissan are great. I think being that close at a Buffett show would be a whole new world. Instead of being immersed in the party in the crowd, you'd have a completely different feel of being immersed in the band. You're not losing anything. You are on the gro...

It always bothered me when he'd play two shows in Cincy, Indy and Chicago and not go to St. Louis. Half the people at theses shows are there both nights, why not spread it out more? But he's not doing two shows much anymore. It's frustrating to see that he's playing 2 days at Gillette Stadium in Ma...

I did try Live Nation as well as Ticketmaster at the onsale time and Live Nation definately was worthless until well after the tickets were gone. Not that Ticketmaster got me any further.

It comes down to priorities. I'd love to see Jimmy in Pittsburgh this year, but if my only choice is between $35 lawns and $126 pavilions, I'll stay at home. I'm not driving 5 hours and paying gas, food and lodging, to do the lawn thing, and I'm not paying $126 for the back of the pavilion. Ain't g...

ticket prices are pretty steep all across the board. My husband and I saw Billy Joel last week and our tickets were okay and they cost us over $85 each. So I'm thinking I'd pay $40 more to be super close to the stage to see Buffett. Paying $40 more to be at the ultimate tailgate party, with a ton o...

I'm starting to consider a road trip to Camden NJ if I can get tickets there if/when they go on sale. The 2.5 hour drive sounded crazy at first, but then I realized that with traffic it takes me that long to get to Nissan most years. Does anybody know about any typical major traffic problems around ...

My experience was about the same as everyone else's. Wait times kept jumping up and down and finally at 10:09, my six on the lawn popped up and all was well. Already got the time off and the hotel rooms reserved. For those of you who got shut out, my apologies. I definitely know what that's like. A...

Which ticket master number do you call? Does it matter? If you can, use the internet...it's very difficult to get through in a timely fashion via the phone From my experience, consider the phone hopeless. I would definately suggest going online. Use the phone while ordering online if you have to, b...

anyone else having problems entering? It keeps telling me "an error has occurred - please see below" but nothing is "below" :( :( When I see below, it highlights in red the section about "tell me why you gotta go where it's warm" or whatever it says, but no matter what I do, I can't correct it.
