I called the Mortuary at 9:00, and they picked him up at 11:00! That part is a relief. Filled out most of the forms that I could, that they needed. I'll be going there sometime this week to pick out his urn, and sign some more forms.

We're waiting for crazy winds here, more along the foothills of the mountains, but could be up to 90 mph. Closer to my part of town, in the 50 mph range. But still in the 60's for temperatures.

Good even, all. Spent 6 hours at the hospital with E. At about 2:00, his Mother and Brother showed up. (no, not a surprise). They drive all the way through the night from OK. We visited for a bit, then I went to a waiting area (which was empty, and I enjoyed the quiet). Then his brother and I ...

We got an appointment for 9:00 am tomorrow with the liver doctor. Finally. He slept for a few hours, and then I made him 1/2 of a ham/cheese sandwich.

It's 62 degrees outside. :o

Sooo, the oncologist called, and they're sending E to a liver specialist to try and put a tube into his belly and do some sort of draining to reduce his bilirubin levels. Hopefully that will help his yellow eyes and skin, and the skin itch. :-?

His first appointment is on Monday with an oncologist/hematologist. And the doctor just so happens to be the same doctor I've been seeing for my phlebotomy. :lol: Which is good, cause I liked him.


The question is did they release him for their own sanity? :wench ...
