I was able to get two tickets in the lower bowl. I suspect this show will run similar to the Dallas show with Jimmy, George, and Alan, where they just took turns playing songs. Should be a great show.

He mentions in one of his live songs that he started the song in Austin and finished it in Key West.

Local radio station just announced that JB will be in the Ville at the Yum! Center on November 30th, with tickets going on sale Sept 27th. The Yum! Center is a great place to watch a show, and Jimmy's last show there was a great time.

Okay, I have searched jokelben high and low, but I cannot find the version of this song that they play on RM. It is a duet and embarrassingly I do not know who is singing with Jimmy on the song, but I love this version of the song. Any help where I can find this song would be appreciated!

I was listening to the concert replay today from 10/18/1997 and he referred to Come Monday as a Key West song, so I am guessing he must have written the song while in Key West, just to possibly answer my own question.

Two friends of mine each had one and I had to get one myself. My wife wasn't happy about it, but since it is now SO EASY to spit out frozen morsels of heaven I couldn't take it back if I wanted. :lol:

I'm listening to RM and Lighthouse comes on, and although it's a good song live, there really isn't a 'clean' version of this song, and the new album would give him a chance to get it on an album. I just love his version of the song. I know it won't happen, but it would be nice.

I have heard him many times in concert refer to Come Monday as a beach song. The song doesn't refer to the beach or anywhere near a beach, so I have always been confused (not that difficult for me ) why he refers to the song this way. What am I missing?

Very dissappointed the picture my fellow Louisvillians are painting for the Yum! Center. Just to clarify, yes the Yum! Center is downtown, but it is in a nice part of town. There will be plenty of bars and restaurants right around the Yum! Center to eat drink, although allow for plenty of time ...

An option for tailgating in an outdoor parking lot is Louisville Slugger Field. It's only about four blocks from the Yum! Center and is often used for event parking for events at the Yum!
