Re: Buffett's comments on his works?

If you have a copy of Jimmy's boxed set, it includes a book with comments about all 72 songs included in the boxed set. You can also find information for songs from Jimmy newer or more recent albums in liner notes included with those albums I had it but can't seem to find it. I broke down and order...

Buffett's comments on his works?

Hi all, it's been a LONG TIME since I last posted . . . life and all that. Anyway, I seem to remember that there were a lot of comments Jimmy has/had made about his songs, individually and as albums. I'm running a Buffett Marathon on my Fleming Key page https://www.facebook.com/FlemingoKey/ and want...

Re: Jones Beach

I always thought that Jones Beach deserved a Saturday date. I know its small but its such a fun place and a great way to spend any day but especially a Buffett day. I think I might head down this year despite it being on a Tuesday. If the Thursday date in between Jones Beach and GW wasn't in the wo...

Re: 08/18 • Wantagh, NY

I have a group of 8 going to Jones Beach and have two sets of 4. I'd like to trade with someone to get my group closer together. I have: - Sec. 26 row F seats 1-4 - Sec. 26 row N seats 17 - 20 Ideally I'd like to trade the row Ns for row G 1-4 or row F 5 - 8 OR I'd like to trade the row Fs for row M...

Re: Who's Going To Orlando, FL 2/4/12 ???

Mrs. Conch and I, as well as two virgins expect to be at the Margaritaville CityWalk shindig.

We also have a latest priority seating (or whatever it is they do at Margaritaville) for Friday night. Live bands go on at 10:00 and, well, you never know!!!

Re: Who's Going To Orlando, FL 2/4/12 ???

We are staying across from Amway as recommended by a few here, so the shuttle works for us. We (me, and two virgins) had never been to CityWalk (Mrs. Conch was years ago) and were planning on being there Friday night. We didn't want to miss a pre-show tailgate, but on at Margaritaville with a shuttl...

Re: Christmas / Holiday drinks

Talk to Capt. Flock about his Parrotpi$$. It's green, great, and deadly delicious. It's got dark spice rum, melon liquor, coconut rum, pineapple, sweet & sour mix, and I think blue curacao....yum. You could freeze it (it would'nt actually freeze, just get thicker). :D ...and really, what says Chris...

Re: Christmas / Holiday drinks

It works!!!!

Champagne flute
3/4 oz. Midori
dash Blue Curacao
Top with champagne

The pouring of the champagne should mix the drink and give a rich, jewel tone green to compliment the red of the Poinsettia. Add two cranberries and mint sprig for garnish and you're set!

Re: Christmas / Holiday drinks

Margaritas are green, too. If you want them darker green, I would think you could just add food coloring. Margaritas are too easy! (And too strong for many) I wanted something green in a champagne glass to compliment the Poinsettia red jewel tone . . . http://www.cocktailsdrinkrecipes.com/images/po...

Re: Christmas / Holiday drinks

Ke Ke (key lime) schnapps. It's green. It's YUMMY. Best served very cold. You'll taste key lime pie as you sip it; the aftertaste (my hand to the Heavens!) is graham cracker crust. http://www.liquormart.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/600x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/1/2/12330_5.jpg Oh...

Christmas / Holiday drinks

I'm trying to come up with a holiday drink to compliment the Poinsettia Cocktail. The Poinsettia is red and I'm looking for a green one for Christmas Eve. Does anyone have any ideas? My thought was adding Midori for the green touch, thinking the melon flavor should blend nicely with a smooth champag...
