There are a couple of potential issues though. It is a huge grass field just to the east of the stadium ...

In for my third trip to Dallas...was at the original Hoot Island and maybe the original in Frisco too...I just know I went once before.

What is the parking / tailgating situation @ Sprint Center? We have gone to Frisco, TX the last few years and really didn't like the venue change this year, so we would like to hit KC. Can anyone give me a heads up.....

There is no tailgating. The arena is downtown and you will most likely park ...

Downtown hotels are out of control on price for sure, $200+ at hotels that can normally be had for about half of that.

So yeah, book on Priceline. You get the Sheraton mentioned above if you bid $70. It rejected me at $66 so you probably can't get it much cheaper, haha. Ends up about $90 a night ...

i don't think arrowhead is an option either, royals have a home game on april 30th

can anyone confirm that this is actually at the sprint center? supposedly there is an arena football game there on april 30th

Not to poach from another site is stating KC Parrothead club has been informed that Jimmy will be gracing Kansas City with his presence at the Sprint Center on 4/30.

yes, but in the lower bowl they removed about half of the seats to create a general admission pit area, and the seats that remain in the lower bowl are GA as well. the upper seating area is still reserved

royals are home that weekend, and i dont think the soccer stadium will be done yet, so that leaves sprint center i guess???
