I'm reading my posts from 3 years ago. My heart goes out to our friends to the east. I am so sorry they are having to deal with Laura. I don't wish this on anyone. It was a long night for them.

I'm seeing all my Harvey posts from 3 years ago pop up in my Facebook memories. Today's are from the first Saturday and Saturday night. That night. UGH. All the severe storm alerts. I didn't sleep at all.

Looks like our friends on the Texas/Louisiana border are going to get hit pretty hard today. We may see some winds and rain but nothing like they will.

Our hotels are pretty full with evacuees. One had linemen trucks all in the parking lot ready to head southeast.

We may get rain. We may not get rain..

First day of classes on campus. All the kiddos are logging in or going to class. Let's see if we can make it longer than some of the other universities with our face to face classes.

i really hope he includes Love in the Library. One of my favorites. Been played 0 times in concert.

No Seafood for me. I spend a summer working in a lab doing research on low levels of chemicals and the effects on the marine ecosystem. I was never a fan but it sealed the deal for me.

But every once in a while, when I can get a fresh from the ocean lobster, I'll take advantage of it.
