It was awesome!! Bittersweet, but such a joyful event. I could feel the spirit of Jimmy moving across the stage & through the crowd. I left wanting more!! Fins Up!
Great show! Great to see Sonny and Jake back in the fold. Take that band on the road!
I'm still hoping this is part of them testing the water for doing some additional dates at some point.
From NOLA.com: Jimmy Buffett got a second-line at New Orleans Jazz Fest on Saturday. Buffett didn’t necessarily want a funeral. What he wanted, as his buddy and Jazz Fest producer/director Quint Davis put it, was for his fans to “keep the party going”. There comes the moment at every party..., where it's time to leave. The guests who have some class, thank the host for his or her hospitality, for a great time, and those guests with class go home. They remember the great time they had, and they... "move on". Where Buffett is concerned, that time has come. Remember the music, the shows, the good times..., but let's "move on". This whole "Buffett everyday thing" is starting to resemble a cash cow that's being worked to death to stretch out every dollar. I was, and still am, a BIG fan. A fan from the early days when there were no "blenders or shakers of salt". Just a good times and great music. But those times are over folks, and Jimmy has left the building. Raise a glass, toast the host, unplug the blender, say "thanks for the music and all your hard work"..., and leave. Don't be one of those annoying party guests who just can't read the room, or doesn't get the message that it's time to leave and... "move on".

I love this song so much. It’s done so well. It’s meaningful, soothing, and so bittersweet. It’s perfect. Thanks Zac and Mac!
It's such a beautiful song for all of us pirates and parrots, especially the big one up in heaven.😎💯♥️🎵🎵🫧🫧🫧
I was watching a rehearsal of this song before the Hollywood bowl. I had to stop. The tears started.
